NBS Server Tournament: Arena Series

Introduction

I'd like to welcome you yet another new event brought to you by Antiquity.

Arena is the name of an event that will take place on our NBS Server on weekly basis. As you will soon notice, this tournament style is different than what you have seen so far.

Proceed to read the Rules & Regulations section for the details.

 


Rules & Regulations

-The tournament will begin in exactly 30 minutes after it is announced.

-The tournament will be played on the DPPt OU for the time being. More twists will be invented in future tournaments including more generations though.

-The moment the event is announced to be initiated, each participant's goal is to face as many participants as possible in order to gather points, depending on his performance. Elaborating further:

 

  1. 6-0 victories grant the participant 5 battle points.
  2. 5-0 victories grant the participant 4 battle points.
  3. 4-0 victories grant the participant 3 battle points.
  4. 3-0, 2-0, 1-0 victories grant the participant 2 battle points.
  5. Ties grant both participants with 1 battle point.
  6. Defeat doesn't grant the participant any point at all.

-The winner of the event is declared the one that manages to gather the most points in two hours time, after the event has initiated.

This clauses/rules must be turned on.


-Sleep Clause
-Freeze Clause
-Self-KO Clause
-Apply PP Ups
-Battle Timeout
-Unrated (Unless both agree to do a rated match.)



The following Pokemon will be considered as Uber:

Arceus, Darkrai, all Deoxys formes, Dialga, Garchomp, both Giratina formes, Groudon, Ho-oh, Kyogre, Latios, Lugia, Manaphy, Mew, Mewtwo, Palkia, Rayquaza, Shaymin-S, Wobbuffet, Wynaut.

Prizes

-10 000 Achievement Points.

-VIP Status on Server.
